This American IPA is one of Blue Point’s most popular beers. It’s got the usual strong hop flavor you’ve come to expect from an IPA, but we found this variety a bit lighter than some other IPAs we’ve had. A very approachable IPA.

Blue Point’s flagship brew, the Toasted Lager is a wonderfully balanced beer with a slight “toasted” flavor. This beer is very drinkable – we think if you like Yuengling lager you should give this beer a try.

Bitter and beautiful, just like Kevin’s ex-girlfriend. Kevin’s romantic troubles aside, this is a great light-bodied pale ale. It’s sometimes hard to find a beer with strong hop flavor that is still drinkable as a session beer, but Blue Point’s Pale Ale manages to fit that mold. A great beer for a hot summer day.

If you’ve never had a rye beer, you should definitely try out the Rastafa Rye. The beer does a nice job balancing hoppy and malty flavors while allowing the distinctive, somewhat spicy rye flavor to shine through. This was one of the crew’s favorites at Blue Point.

WinterCoat Double Hop

An Imperial or Double IPA, the Double Hop has the hoppy flavor you’d expect from the style, but we didn’t find the taste as overwhelming as some of the other Imperial IPAs we’ve had. This beer has a nice orange-amber color and a great citrus and pine smell. If you’re usually put off by Imperial IPAs, we’d recommend giving the Double Hop a try – it’s much more drinkable.

25 Dodici

This hard-to-find beer from Italy was one of the Tap That crew’s favorites at the Diamond. This dark brown brew has a malty flavor, but it isn’t overly sweet and has subtle spiciness. Although we could certainly taste the alcohol, we think 25 Dodici’s 9.5% ABV will surprise you. We recommend you try this beer soon; it’s a perfect choice for the colder winter months.

Reissdorf Kölsch

One of the classic Kölsch beers from Cologne, Germany, Reissdorf Kölsch has a light and refreshing flavor. Like other Kölsch beers, Reissdorf has a light body and color, but offers a surprisingly complex flavor. At 4.80% ABV, Reissdorf is an incredibly drinkable beer, perfect for novices and experts alike.
