Kevin Swan
Kevin Swan is currently the Host of “Tap That,” an online beer show that explores the best bars, pubs, and breweries of the five boroughs and beyond.
Swan, a native Floridian (yes, they exist) flew the coop after high school to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. To this day, he swears it was the journalism program and not the weather and close proximity to Vegas, LA, and Mexico that landed him in the desert.
After a summer internship with Blender magazine, Swan knew he would soon call New York City his home. Despite no job or a place to live, he arrived with a couple of suitcases and overwhelming ambition to become a big fish in the biggest pond.
Swan’s first few years in the Big Apple were spent in the world of Advertising (He wanted to be Mel Gibson’s character in What Women Want — working for a global agency). Despite quick success in the corporate world, he decided to leap off the corporate ladder, head first!
Since making the “life change,” Swan has hosted, emceed, and performed all over New York City. Whether it’s in-studio or on-location, he loves the energy, work, and creativity that make up a high quality production.
“I love working as a TV Host, because honestly, it never feels like I’m working – that’s how I know I’m doing the right thing with my life”
